EXHIBITION ON THE FUTURE OF FOOD 




The United Lands 
of Non-Human


Next year we have an opportunity to exhibit at Venice. ~The venue will be disclosed soon~ 

At Nøha, we are keen to use this opportunity to talk about the future of food, food security in the conditions of scarcity of resources, climate change, human lifespan extension and unprecedented breakthrough in technologies.

We will showcase, for the first time in the history, the National Pavilion of Amatoria - a country which doesn’t exist YET.

Straight away from the year 2125.


The National Charter
Of Non-Human Rights

 Amatoria is state with only 5 overarching laws:

1. Humans are not the protagonists, all species have equal rights.

2. We trust AI in taking social decisions based on a non-anthropocentric lens. Ecosystem is the centre of our state.

3. Land and property are not owned, but subscribed for.

4. Non-rivalry, collaboration and state-wide ideas spillover!

5. During our 60th birthdays we wear the funky red hat.


The Future Meal Ecosystem

Amatoria is a self-declared country, where humans are not the protagonists and every specie has the same rights to be. Our pavilion showcases the culture of Amatorians through their food habits.
The human meal in a not-only-human centered country differs from what we are used to.
We invite you to withness the biggest gastro-celebration in Amatoria: the 60th birthday’s meal.

AI-Matoria

Amatorians adapt using their environmental consciousness and the new high-tech advancements. Ai-matoria ensures that dietary recommendations do not disrupt the natural balance of species. Human lifetime is now longer. And healthier as well.


Deep-time Lab

In Amatoria, food management is a long-term planning subject. Each citizen has its personalized century calendar where the food ration is distributed spanning on a 100 years cycle.


Food-Intelligence Lab
& The Seed Bank

Animal consumption is limited to the very minimum necessary for a naturally balanced cohabitation. Monoculture agriculture is abolished in favour of regenerative agricultural practice. The Food Intelligence Lab represents all the species and secures the ecosystem.

Your 60th Supper

How would your meal look like, if you would only have 10 chicken legs for the coming 10 years? How would you feel eating the last lobster of your lifetime? Would you share a few strawberries with your beloved ones if you can only eat them again in 2 years?
